There are many different ergonomic pens available. EzGrip pen, by Dexterity Technologies Corp., claims it is ahead of the ergonomics curve. After personally using the EzGrip ResQ Pen for several weeks, I believe the EZ Grip pen is a great solution for people with hand problems. The specially designed EzGrip pen requires minimal downward pressure from a single finger to control it and requires a very light grip.
The EzGrip pen comes as a ballpoint (EzGrip EZ-1 Pen) or gel pen (EzGrip ResQ Pen). The gel pen is an exceptional writing instrument, which glides across the paper. Dexterity Technologies also has created slip-on grips to be used with stick pens or any pencil-like instrument. The design of the grip mimics and works like the contour and finger saddle of the EzGrip pen.
According to Dexterity Technologies, the pens and grip adapters are in a constant state of field testing, discovery, and application by occupational therapists and physical therapists.
